10 publicationsA Systematic Review of Homeopathic Medicine in Treating Cold-Related Illnesses: Pathophysiology, Challenges and Future Directions
Cold-related illnesses pose significant health challenges, particularly affecting the respiratory, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal systems. Exposure to cold leads to bronchoconstriction, vasoconstriction, and immune suppression, increasing susceptibility to respiratory infections, cardiovascular diseases, and rheumatic conditions. Conventional treatments provide symptomatic relief, whereas homeopathy offers a holistic approach, addressing both the exciting cause (cold exposure) and constitutional susceptibility of individuals. This systematic review explores the pathophysiology of cold-related illnesses, their classification under the International Classification of Diseases (ICD), and homeopathic therapeutic strategies. Key remedies such as Aconitum Napellus, Rhus Toxicodendron, Dulcamara, and Gelsemium are frequently indicated based on repertorial data. The review also highlights the role of exciting causes in homeopathic case-taking, repertorial rubrics related to cold exposure, and Materia Medica references. Despite its clinical application, homeopathic treatment of cold-related illnesses lacks large-scale, systematic validation. Most studies are case-based rather than randomized controlled trials (RCTs), underscoring the need for standardized trials with well-defined protocols. Future research should focus on RCTs comparing homeopathy with conventional treatments, developing clinical guidelines, and investigating the molecular mechanisms of homeopathic dilutions in cold-induced conditions. This study aims to contribute to evidence-based homeopathic practice for managing cold-related illnesses.
A comparative study of effectiveness between external application of Arnica Montana Q and Wiesbaden Q along with Individualised Homeopathic medicine for Telogen effluvium in females.
Telogen effluvium is a scalp disorder characterized by diffuse, non-scarring shedding of hair. The term ‘telogen effluvium’ was proposed to differentiate it from excessive shedding of normal club hair. Various hypothesis is put forward regarding the pathophysiology of Telogen effluvium. Headington proposed that there are five different functional types of Telogen effluvium based on alterations in particular phase of follicular cycle. Whiting defined chronic telogen effluvium as an idiopathic disorder. Telogen effluvium is different from the hair loss disorder called alopecia areata. Large amounts of a person’s hair might fall out, but it is often temporary, and the hair usually grows back. Research question: Is there any difference in action of Arnica Montana mother tincture and Wiesbaden mother tincture when given as local application with Individualised Homeopathic medicine for hair fall in females of 18-45 years of age? Aim: To study the difference of effectiveness between external application of Arnica Montana Q and Wiesbaden Q with Individualised Homoeopathic medicine in management of Telogen effluvium. Objectives:ï€ Primary: 1) To find reduction in hair fall. 2) To study the effectiveness of local application of Arnica Montana mother tincture along with Homeopathic Individualized medicine. 3) To study the effectiveness of local application of Wiesbaden mother tincture along with Homeopathic Individualized medicine. A case of oral mucocele treated with Homoeopathic medicine – A Case Report
Oral mucoceles are non-cancerous cysts filled with mucus that frequently develop in the oral cavity, primarily due to the rupture of minor salivary glands caused by trauma or obstruction. Traditional treatment methods generally involve surgical excision or incision and drainage; however, these approaches often lead to a high recurrence rate. This case report illustrates the effective management of an oral mucocele through homeopathic treatment. A 33-year-old patient presented with a painless swelling in the lower lip, which was identified as an oral mucocele. The patient received a constitutional homeopathic remedy, resulting in noticeable improvement and gradual reduction of the swelling, with no recurrence noted during the follow up period. Homeopathy has proven to be a reliable treatment option in various surgical cases with underlying causes. This case highlights the potential of homeopathy as a holistic and non-invasive method for treating oral mucoceles, providing a viable alternative to traditional surgical interventions.

A Comprehensive Literature Review on Myopia with Homoeopathic perspectives
Myopia, or short-sightedness, is a common refractive error in which distant objects appear blurred due to the focal point of light being in front of the retina. With the increasing global prevalence of myopia, particularly among children and adolescents, there is an urgent need to explore and understand its etiological mechanisms, risk factors, and alternative approaches to its management. This literature review delves into the risk factors and theories behind the progression of myopia, the clinical classification of various forms of myopia, and the holistic homeopathic approach to its treatment. It discusses the role of therapeutically indicated remedies and repertorial rubrics with a focus on muscular asthenopia, ciliary muscle dysfunction, and accommodative strain.
Analytical study of complete repertory in homoeopathic management of chronic Bronchial Asthma.
Bronchial asthma is a chronic respiratory disorder that affects individuals across all age groups. It is a heterogeneous condition characterized by chronic inflammation of the airways, resulting in episodic breathlessness, chest tightness, coughing, and wheezing. These symptoms are typically caused by airway narrowing due to muscle spasms, mucosal swelling, and thick bronchial secretions. Despite numerous therapeutic advances, the prevalence and severity of asthma continue to rise globally and in India. Homeopathy offers a promising approach in managing chronic bronchial asthma by considering the individualistic symptom picture and selecting a suitable remedy based on holistic principles. Although several studies have demonstrated the role of homeopathy in asthma, there is limited literature on the practical utility of Complete Repertory in such cases. Complete Repertory, a comprehensive and evolving tool in homeopathy, offers a wide range of rubrics and updated remedy relationships that help in individualizing treatment. This review aims to bridge the gap by highlighting the clinical utility of Complete Repertory in bronchial asthma and its role in improving patient outcomes. It also explores the importance of repertorization, individualized remedy selection, and symptom analysis in reducing the frequency and intensity of asthmatic episodes.
