Psoriasis is a common, chronic and non-infectious skin disease characterized by well defined slightly raised, dry erythematous macules with silvery scales and typical extensor distribution. Objective: The effect of homoeopathic treatment in cases of psoriasis studied in age group 10-60 for 6 months. Prevalence of psoriasis in both males and females. Design: A Retrospective observational study. Psoriasis Area Severity Index scale (PASI) were used for evaluating cases. Material and method: 45 patients were selected for the present study on the basis of clinical sign and symptoms of psoriasis. To assess the cases improvement psoriasis area severity index scale were applied. The study include patient taking treatment from 2018.Result: Homeopathic medicine were found to reduce the PASI score in patient. Conclusion: Hence, homoeopathic medicine is effective in psoriasis when studied in age group 10- 60 in both sexes. Out of 45 cases 91% cases are improving, 6.66% cases are not improved and 2.2% cases are improved.

ABSTRACT Homesickness is known as “mini grief”. It is defined as “a negative emotional state primarily due to separation from home and attachment of persons, characterized by a longing for home and with difficulties in adjusting to the new place. Objective: To evaluate the impact of most similar homoeopathic medicines in treatment of after effects of homesickness. Materials and methods: A prospective study was carried out within the duration of 6 months at Motiwala National Homoeopathic Medical College, Nashik. Patients between 19-25 years of age staying away from home for study, were screened with john archer et al, 1998 questionnaire scale. The most similar medicines after case taking and repertorization were prescribed and followed up for 6 months. Outcome for treatment was assessed with before and after questionnaire provided. Result: After analyzing 45 patients, 6 cases (13%) were improved, 36 cases (80%) are improving and 3 cases (7%) were not improved. This research concluded that homoeopathic individualized medicines are effective in treatment of ailments from homesickness in professional course students. Significant difference (t-0.05=2.014, < t=17.2) using paired t-test was observed at the end of study. Natrum muriaticum, pulsatilla, phosphorus, ignatia were found to be the most useful medicines in treating after effects of homesickness. Conclusion: This study conclude that individualized homoeopathic medicines are effective in cases of ailments from homesickness.

Stress affects most population emotionally as well as physically. Sources of stress includes academics, occupational, financial, social and physiological changes. Sometimes stress persist in spite of resources, regular relaxation practices. Objective: To screen the youth for analyzing various sources and levels of their stress. Materials and Method: By using ISMA stress questionnaire. Results: The common causes of stress were: academic stress- 17 cases (37.77%); career stress - 8 cases (17.77%); familial stress - 8 cases (17.77%); assumed responsibility stress - 2 cases (4.44%); stress related to relationships & past events- 9 cases (20%); stress about health- 1 case (2.22%). Which shows the academic stress is present more in youths. Conclusion: Once identifying the stressors in day to day life, by choice of integrated mode of therapy like homoeopathy, counseling etc. one can reduce the levels of stress. Mechanism to cope up with such stress will improve the functioning ability of the youth which will be having great impact on their productivity.

Buffaloes share 44.1% of milk production in Maharashtra. Jafarabadi breed is highly rendered breed in western Maharashtra.(1) Lactation period in buffalo ranges from 295 to 300 days. Genetic and non-genetic factors affect lactation efficiency in buffalo.(2) National action plan of dairy development vision 2022 aims increase milk productivity throughout country. But we are facing challenges like low productivity of bovine and lack of preventive action against adulteration of milk and use of synthetic steroids as galactagogue i.e., oxytocin. It causes various deleterious effects like decrease fertility of cattle, excessive hemorrhage. The aim of this study was to observe effectiveness of Urtica urens 6C in increasing milk quantity in lactating Jafarabadi Buffaloes For 6 months from the same stable. Using cluster sampling technique, a sample of 30 healthy lactating, Jafarabadi buffaloes who had not yet received oxytocin injections were studied for 6 months. Pilot study for 15 days capturing the yield before administration of the medicine. For a total of six months, 15-day admission cycles of the medication and a placebo were repeated. After analyzing all data in SPSS, the results indicate that Urtica urens 6C is effective in boosting lactation efficiency in lactating Jafarabadi buffaloes

Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a prevalent condition among women aged 40 to 80 years, significantly impacting their quality of life. Despite available conventional treatments, interest persists in alternative therapies like Homeopathy. This case series investigates the efficacy of Homeopathic interventions in managing SUI. Through consecutive sampling, with a total of 45 patients with clinically diagnosed SUI were recruited. Additionally,the study aimed to identify the most commonly prescribed remedy for this condition. Homeopathic medicines were administered based on symptom similarity. The Questionnaire for urine incontinence diagnosis (QUID) scale was used for diagnosis whereas Symptom Severity Score (SSS) Scale was utilized to evaluate the severity of SUI Before and after treatment. Thorough homeopathic consultations and personalized prescriptions led to significant reductions in SUI severity post-treatment, with mean score of SSS decreased from 7.8 before treatment to 5.3 after treatment. The findings of this study indicate that homeopathic medicines significantly help in controlling the cases of SUI.

Background Haemorrhoid complaint is a common anorectal conditions seen in day to day practice by general physician, general surgeon and gastrointestinal surgeons. It affects significant portion of global population, with roughly 80% of individuals facing this condition Objective- To find out the effectiveness of homoeopathic drugs in reducing inflexibility of symptoms, to enhance the quality of life of patient suffering from hemorrhoids and to find out the generally indicated homoeopathic drugs in the treatment of hemorrhoids. Materials and methods- This study employed case series design, exercising simple random sampling, to prove the effectiveness of homeopathic drugs in treating hemorrhoids, with data collected through symptom questionnaires, case record formats, and the Short Health Scale( SHS- HD), and follow- up assessments conducted at 15- day intervals. Result-Medicines were administered on base of symptom similarity. Among them 44 cases( 97.2) were bettered, 1 not bettered( 2.8) and Mean of Symptom questionnaire all 45 cases before intervention was 3.8 and after intervention score 1.9, this shows significant enhancement in the case. Mean of SHS- HD of 45 cases before interventions score was 20.9 and after intervention score 8.8 shows the significant enhancement in quality of life of case. The generally indicated drugs are Sulphur(17.7) Phosphorus( 15.5) Nux vomica( 13.3) Lycopodium( 11.1) Lachesis( 11.1).

Background: Tobacco dependence is a major health concern globally, and finding effective treatment options is essential for reducing its prevalence and associated health risks1. Aim: To study the effectiveness of individualized homeopathic medicine for reducing the tobacco dependence in age group of 18-60 years. Objectives: Primary objective: To study the effect of individualized homeopathic medicine in reduction of frequency for tobacco. Secondary objective: To find the most frequently indicated homeopathic medicine in reducing the tobacco dependency. Materials and Methods: Case series study was done among 30 subjects with Tobacco dependence randomly selected from M(N)HMC OPD and peripheral camps. Status of dependence of subjects was measured with Fagerstrom Nicotine Dependence scale. Individualized homoeopathic medicine was administered. Result: Statistical analysis was done using Paired t test. Out of 30 patients, effectiveness of Individualized homoeopathic medicine is seen in 26 patients (86.66%) and frequency & dependency remains same in 4 patients (13.33%). Conclusion: According to statistics of nicotine addiction calculated before and after intervention of individualized homoeopathic medicine for dependency and frequency of tobacco eaten per day gives the t value of 10.16 and 7.15 respectively Hence, we concluded that Individualized homoeopathic medicine is effective in reducing the tobacco dependency.
