Toothache is very common clinical condition seen in dental OPD in day to day practice. Treatment of toothache depends upon the cause and severity. Root canal therapy is one of the procedures used to treat the toothache. Use of local anesthesia during the procedure has several side effects. Local anesthetics are frequently administered in dentistry and thus can be expected to be a major source of drug-related complications in the dental office. Additionally, the dentist will more often be confronted with the treatment of risk patients; thus, the incidence of side effects can be expected to rise. Complications associated with the administration of the local anesthesia of all patients, 45.9% had at least one risk factor in their medical histories, with cardiovascular diseases and allergies being the most frequent. Additionally, doses of local anesthetics proved not to be strictly determined according to body weight, especially for patients weighing less than 50 kg.[1] To prevent these side effects of local anesthesia, homoeopathic medicines can be used to subside the pain during process of Root Canal Therapy (RCT). In this study, we tried Coffea cruda 30 a homoeopathic medicine in the cases of RCT to reduce pain.

Homoeopathic Treatment of Primary Hypothyroidism
is believed to be a common health issue in India, as it is worldwide. However there is a paucity of data on the prevalence of hypothyroidism in adult population of India.[1] In India, too, a large population suffers from thyroid disorders. Previous studies reveal that almost 42 million Indians suffer from thyroid disorders. Unfortunately, awareness about the disease is extremely low. However a recent study across 8 cities of the country reveal the prevalence of around 11% in the urban population in India, with the women being 3 times more prone to the disease than men.[2] Women’s are more likely to develop hypothyroidism than men. People over the age of 60 are more commonly affected. The only known treatment for the condition in conventional medicine is requires thyroxin therapy relieves symptoms and restores ‘normal’ thyroid function. The case reported here is that of a Primary Hypothyroidism in an 18 year old girl who was treated successfully with homoeopathic medicine. The patient has been observed for more than 2 years. In these 2 years her thyroid function was accessed by investigating with thyroid function test at regular interval which showed thyronormalcy in almost all subsequent reports, this suggest that a ‘near permanent’ cure is achievable through individualised Homoeopathic treatment.
Exploring The Remedy Relationship
One of the common failures in the beginners of homoeopathy is the lack of awareness about the drug relationship. For a successful practitioner thorough knowledge of the drug relationship is very much necessary. The last taken drug affords the best indication for the next prescription. The experienced homoeopathic physician therefore gives particular attention in the examination of case to ascertaining what drug have been previously used with a view to stop their use and antidoting such as have been most influential in producing disorder, as revealed by a study of symptoms. Like that of antidote, inimical relationship is also very important to the physician, which prevents him from failures. Introduction Studying the relationship part of drugs is clinically more important. Generally, drugs are classified according to their source of origin- same botanical family or chemical groups. It is not difficult to note certain great features common to these drugs. Unusually such features are caused by common alkaloid or active principle. For example the Solanaceae family has certain alkaloid in common (Atropin, Hyoscine and Hyscymine) and their toxic effect are much alike due to this fact. Depending upon the alkaloid or its chemical contents the characters of the drugs also differ and reflects as the group symptoms. The Sanguinaria, Chelidonium and Opium though of the same family have vitally different symptomatic indications such as can only be obtained by proving.
Understanding Of Silicea As An Personality
Silica, chemically known as silicon dioxide (SiO₂), is one of the most abundant minerals in the earth’s crust and a major component of sand, quartz, and various silicate compounds. In nature, silica contributes to the structural strength of plants and forms an essential part of geological and biological systems. In homoeopathy, Silicea is recognized as an important constitutional remedy with distinct physical and psychological characteristics. Individuals requiring Silicea often display a clear sense of identity but experience deep anxiety about how they are perceived by others. This insecurity frequently leads to perfectionism, fear of criticism, and difficulty expressing themselves confidently despite possessing intellectual ability. Such individuals may appear outwardly stubborn and determined but are internally fragile and sensitive to pressure. Physically, they often exhibit poor assimilation of nutrients, sensitivity to cold, and general weakness of vitality. The remedy reflects themes of lack of inner strength or “grit,” similar to the structural role of silica in nature. Understanding the mental and physical characteristics of Silicea helps homoeopathic practitioners identify suitable cases and apply the remedy effectively in clinical practice.
Effectiveness of Anti-Miasmatic remedies in the children suffering from blindness of age group 5-15 years as per the theory of chronic diseases
The aim was to study whether the anti- miasmatic remedies were effective in cases of children suffering from blindness and to identify the miasm in these children. Material and methods: 30 cases were selected by experimental, non-randomized uncontrolled trial.Visual acuity before the treatment was assessed in each eye with the help of Snellen’s chart. After a detail case taking totality has been generated and homoeopathic medicine has been given, and patient was observed every month. Visual acuity on Snellen’s chart before and after the treatment was recorded. As there was no proper scale assessed due to various clinical presentation in these cases, so we had done a proper grading of vision as per the improvement in patient by using Snellen’s E chart and the students who did not cooperate with the ‘E’ chart, were assessed for the ability to fix and follow light, and those who were not responding to light were assessed by hand motion movement, finger counting and recognition of colours. After the values which were obtained from this grading of vision, the study was analysed with paired T test. Result: The study also revealed that the miasmatic background of the patient mostly indicate Psora. From the 30 cases, most frequently used medicine was Sulphur in 6 cases.Out of the 30 cases, 13 patients are responding to Torch light examination, 01 patient is responding to hand motion examination, 11 patients are responding to finger counting examination, 06 patients are respondingto colours & 03 patients are responding to Snellen’s chart & 3 patients show improvement in Snellen’s chart. Conclusion: It was found that Anti- miasmatic remedies are effective in cases of children suffering from blindness.

Diet & Homoeopathy
Diet plays a vital role in maintaining health and supporting the healing process in medical treatment. The importance of diet has been emphasized since ancient times by Hippocrates, who stated that food itself can act as medicine. In homoeopathic practice, dietary regulation is considered an essential supportive factor for effective treatment. Homoeopathy uses highly diluted medicines administered in very small doses; therefore, substances that may interfere with their action should be avoided. Certain foods, strong flavors, stimulants, and lifestyle factors may reduce the effectiveness of homoeopathic remedies. Patients undergoing homoeopathic treatment are advised to follow a balanced and simple diet tailored to their individual condition. Avoiding incompatible foods, limiting stimulants such as coffee and tobacco, and consuming adequate nutrients help enhance the therapeutic response. During some stages of treatment, temporary aggravation of symptoms may occur, and appropriate dietary management can support recovery during this period. The article emphasizes that a well balanced diet consisting of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, fiber, and sufficient water contributes significantly to improving the effectiveness of homoeopathic therapy and promoting overall well being.
Homeopathy And Allergic Rhinitis In Paediatrics
Allergic rhinitis is a common inflammatory condition of the nasal mucosa frequently observed in children. It is characterized by symptoms such as nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, sneezing, itching, and conjunctival irritation. The condition is considered a major chronic pediatric disorder due to its high prevalence and associated co morbidities. Allergic rhinitis is broadly classified into seasonal and perennial types depending on the duration and triggering allergens. Studies indicate that the highest incidence occurs among children aged two to ten years, with males showing a slightly higher susceptibility. The pathophysiology involves immunological hypersensitivity where allergens stimulate IgE bound mast cells, leading to the release of inflammatory mediators such as histamine and resulting in typical allergic symptoms. Environmental factors such as pollen, air pollution, and chemical irritants may aggravate the condition. Homoeopathy offers a holistic and individualized approach to the management of allergic rhinitis by selecting remedies based on the patient’s constitutional characteristics and symptom totality. Constitutional homoeopathic medicines aim to strengthen the body’s immune response and reduce both the frequency and intensity of allergic episodes. Clinical observations suggest that properly selected homoeopathic remedies provide significant relief in pediatric allergic rhinitis while minimizing the adverse effects often associated with conventional medications.
