Clinical proving plays an important role in the advancement of homoeopathic knowledge and therapeutic practice. Careful observation, accurate case taking, and systematic record keeping are essential components of clinical research in homoeopathy. According to the principles laid down by Samuel Hahnemann, detailed documentation of symptoms and treatment outcomes allows physicians to analyze disease progression and evaluate remedy effectiveness. This article emphasizes the significance of maintaining precise case records for retrospective analysis and clinical understanding. A case of a 22 year old female presenting with fever, weakness, headache, and later developing spasmodic cough is discussed to illustrate this approach. Various homoeopathic remedies were prescribed based on symptom totality, with Drosera providing marked relief during acute episodes of bronchitis characterized by spasmodic cough, body ache, and notable thirstlessness. The observation highlights the importance of identifying peculiar symptoms in remedy selection and suggests further evaluation of Drosera as a possible thirstless remedy in certain clinical situations. The article concludes that systematic clinical observation and documentation contribute to the refinement of materia medica and strengthen evidence in homoeopathic practice.
“To Study The Efficacy And Utility Of Natrum Mur With Special Emphasis In Urticaria.”
Objective: The aim of this study was the efficacy and utility of Natrum Mur with special emphasis in urticaria. Methods: Simple Randomized, single blind, study design had been adopted for the study in Hospital attached to Homoeopathic medical college, A total no. of 30 individuals of all age group, of both sexes and religions presented with signs and symptoms of Urticaria were included in the study. Accordingly the various outcomes were assessed by different attributes and variables. Natrum Mur was found to be a Positive improvement with homoeopathic treatment in urticaria. Conclusion: Homoeopathic treatment is efficacious in the treatment of urticaria significantly.
Paper Title: Reasearch
This research explores the fundamental methodologies of clinical investigation and their specific application within the field of Homoeopathy. The initial segment defines research as a systematic investigation aimed at increasing knowledge and establishing new principles, categorizing it by purpose (Basic and Applied) and method (Deductive and Inductive). It emphasizes that research design serves as a logical structure intended to minimize incorrect causal inferences and test theories through both quantitative and qualitative approaches, including descriptive, experimental, ethnographic, and case study designs (pp. 1, 3). The practical application of these methodologies is demonstrated through a study on the management of Haemophilia using homoeopathic thrombostatic agents. The study identifies Haemophilia as a hereditary coagulation disorder characterized by deficiencies in Factor VIII or IX. While conventional management often involves replacement therapy, this investigation evaluates the efficacy of Hamamelis Virginia as a topical and internal aid during acute bleeding episodes (pp. 7-8). Through a retrospective analysis of 30 cured cases and a comparative study of pharmacognosy, the research highlights why Hamamelis Virginia is preferred over Arnica Montana in haemophilic cases. While Arnica promotes the reabsorption of blood—potentially resuming bleeding by breaking clots—Hamamelis contains high concentrations of tannins (8-10%) and flavonoids. These active principles provide astringent and anti-inflammatory effects that tighten skin proteins and promote healing without disrupting the clotting mechanism (pp. 8-9). The findings suggest that correlating the pharmacognosy of drug sources with patient expressions can significantly enhance the clinical utility of the Materia Medica (p. 10).
Role of homoeopathy in paediatrics
Among homoeopaths the idea of specialist provision for children followed the general trend. it was encouraged by the high morbidity and mortality among children due to poverty. Homoeopathic physicians and their supports wished to give poor children the benefits of the system. An understanding of place of homoeopathy in pediatric as in other branch of medicine, can best be achieved an appreciation of its meaning. Children are frequent visitors for homeopathic consultation. As physicians we must be updated with current research literature for ourselves and also to educate parents. This article is a small effort to provide research updates related to pediatric disorders and role of homeopathy.
Homoeopathy As An Immune Booster
A strong immune system plays a vital role in maintaining health and protecting the body from infections caused by bacteria, viruses, and fungi. The immune response acts as a natural defense mechanism that regulates inflammation and eliminates harmful toxins from the body. This article discusses the role of homoeopathy as a natural immunomodulatory therapy that supports and strengthens the body's defense system. According to homoeopathic philosophy, disease begins with the weakening of the immune system and eventually leads to physical pathology. Homoeopathy works on the principle of “similia similibus curentur,” where highly diluted substances are used to stimulate the body's natural healing response. Rather than targeting a specific pathogen, homoeopathic remedies are selected based on the individual’s unique symptom pattern and constitutional characteristics. These medicines are believed to enhance the body’s immune response by either stimulating a depressed immune system or regulating an overactive immune response, as observed in autoimmune conditions. Studies have suggested that certain remedies such as Silicea may influence immune cells like macrophages, although the exact mechanism of action remains unclear. Homoeopathic medicines are considered safe, gentle, and suitable for individuals of all ages, including children. By promoting balance within the body and supporting natural defense mechanisms, homoeopathy offers a holistic approach to strengthening immunity and maintaining overall health.
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common and complex endocrine disorders affecting women of reproductive age. The condition is characterized by hormonal imbalance, chronic anovulation, and excessive androgen production, which interfere with normal ovarian follicle development and lead to the formation of multiple ovarian cysts. The prevalence of PCOS is estimated to be around 5–10% among women aged 15–35 years. The exact etiology remains unclear, although genetic predisposition, insulin resistance, lifestyle factors, and hormonal disturbances are considered major contributing factors. Common clinical manifestations include irregular menstruation, infertility, obesity, hirsutism, acne, and metabolic complications such as insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Conventional treatment mainly focuses on symptomatic management through hormonal therapy, lifestyle modification, and fertility treatments. Homoeopathy approaches PCOS from a holistic perspective by considering the individual as a whole rather than focusing solely on the disease. Psychological, physical, and constitutional factors are evaluated to select an individualized remedy based on the principles of “similia similibus curentur” and the law of individualization. The homoeopathic approach also considers miasmatic influences and constitutional susceptibility in disease development. By addressing the root cause and restoring the balance of the vital force, homoeopathic treatment aims to provide a safe, gentle, and long-lasting therapeutic approach in the management of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

Homoeopathy In Gastritis
Gastritis is acute or chronic inflammation of the stomach and is most often diffuse, mostly caused by Helicobacter pylori and bile reflux. It is the commonest disorder encountered in the clinical practice. Change in dietary habits – like having irregular meals, fast foods, addictions like smoking and alcohol also play major role. Although not life threatening as other major illness, the symptoms can be distressing and can cause discomfort to enjoy normal life and drain the mental and physical energy. If gastritis is not treated earlier the complications are grave like peptic ulcer, pyloric stenosis and subsequent perforation. Homoeopathy plays a major role in treating gastritis. Homeopathy is very effective in managing all the acute as well as chronic expressions of gastritis; it also plays an important role in prevention of relapse of the condition.
