pp. 17

Gastro- oesophageal reflux (GOR) is defined as backward flow of gastric contents into the oesophagus. A small amount of GOR occurs in normal individuals; the term GORD (gastro- oesophageal reflux disease) includes all the symptoms and forms of tissue damage secondary to the reflux of gastric contents into the oesophagus. Homoeopathic medicines are known for curative effect, by prevention of further complication by treating with homoeopathic medicines and doing necessary interventions Method- we carried out randomized control trial for the cases of Gastro Oesophageal Reflux disease for 30 cases. Natrum phos. along with homoeopathic medicine in experimental group and homoeopathic medicine control group. Conclusion- In qualitative study Natrum phos. is having good potential in cases of GORD but quantitative aspect of our study reflects Homoeopathic Medicine alone has good scope.

pp. 10

Allergic Rhinitis when treated with Homoeopathic Medicines gave the significant results in improvement of the patient. It was found that Homoeopathic medicines were best for cure of allergic Rhinitis where Modern Science have only symptomatic treatment, suppression of disease rather than a cure and use of steroid with the sword of side effects is always there. Homoeopathic medicines are safe, without any side effects and suppression and it improves quality of life. The efficacy of homoeopathic medicines can be understood with the help of statistical Analysis which are as given below. The analysis is of 30 cases. From the study of statistical analysis the age group from 0-20 was 23.33%, from 21-40 was 46.66% , from 41-60 was 26.66% and 61-80 was3.33%. The grades of improvement were, 70% cases showed good Improvement, 20% showed moderate improvement and 10% showed poor Improvement. The medicines which were frequently used were Nux Vomica, Calcarea Carb, Pulsatilla and Natrum Muriaticum. Medicines used in Moderate Zone were Arsenicum Album, Sulphur and Stramonium. Infrequently used medicines were Hyocyamus, Sepia , Cinchona Offincinalis (China), Phosphorus, Lachesis, and Kali Phos.Synthesis repertory brings out the personality of patient through rubrics and helps to make a mind body correlation to bring cure. The meaning of rubrics has its depth and encyclopedia Homoeopathica is the real Gold mine. Homoeopathic medicines have the efficacy to cure Allergic Rhinitis as cure proposed in aphorism first by Dr C.F.S Hahnemann. The action of Homoeopathic medicines to cure Allergic Rhinitis by increasing the immunity of our body to fight against Allergens. One of the care to be taken is start with low or moderate potency as there is a chance of aggravation in allergic condition due to Hypersensitivity. There is no frequent repetition of medicines and wait and watch policy helps to reduce the chances of aggravation and cure takes place. One have to stimulate the system by single similimum dose. Study of mind is the beauty of homoeopathy which is achieved through the study of rubrics from of mind chapter Synthesis repertory. A single Similimum is sufficient to boost our Immune system in Allergic conditions under the Law of "Similia Similibus Curantur"

To Evaluate TheEffectiveness Of Homoeopathic Medicine In Reducing Neck Pain And Disability Of Patients Suffering From Cervical Spondylosis: AProspective Case Series Study

Dr. Vaishnavi Patankar

pp. 34-38

Cervical spondylosis is a common degenerative condition affecting the cervical spine, characterized by progressive degeneration of intervertebral discs, facet joints, and surrounding structures. It commonly presents with symptoms such as neck pain, stiffness, restricted movement, radiating pain to the upper limbs, numbness, dizziness, and balance disturbances. With advancing age, the prevalence of cervical spondylosis increases significantly, making it a major contributor to disability and reduced quality of life. Conventional management generally includes physiotherapy, analgesics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, muscle relaxants, and in severe cases surgical intervention. Homoeopathy, based on the principle of similars, offers an individualized therapeutic approach aimed at relieving symptoms and improving functional capacity without suppressing the natural healing process. The present prospective case series study was undertaken to evaluate the effectiveness of homoeopathic medicines in reducing neck pain and disability among patients suffering from cervical spondylosis. The Neck Pain and Disability Scale (NPAD) was used as the primary assessment tool to measure the severity of neck pain and its impact on daily activities. The study aimed to observe symptomatic improvement following individualized homoeopathic treatment and to assess changes in NPAD scores. Homoeopathic remedies were selected based on totality of symptoms, individual constitution, and miasmatic background. The study intends to contribute to the limited clinical evidence available regarding the role of homoeopathy in the management of cervical spondylosis and to highlight its potential as a complementary therapeutic option for reducing pain and improving functional ability.

Cognitive psychology investigates the mental processes involved in knowledge acquisition, including thinking, knowing, remembering, judging, and problem-solving. It is divided into hot and cold cognition, with hot cognition involving emotion-based learning and cold cognition involving non-emotional processes like working memory. Objective: 1. Primary objective - To study the action of kali phos 6x in poor academic performance of students with help of academic performance scale. 2. Secondary objective - What are similimum & frequently used homoeopathic medicine of poor performance in academics of students? Materials and Methods: This study includes a Randomized control trail of 20 cases prescribed Constitution medicines and biochemic medicine Kali phos 6X on homoeopathic principles basis. The study was conducted in Motiwala (National)Homoeopathic Medical College and Motiwala Physiotherapy College, Nashik. Unpaired t test was done to analyze the result statistically. Results: Out of 20 cases 11 cases were improved in both groups and 09 cases were not improved in both groups.
