3 publicationsEfficacy of Larch in Students with Low Self Esteem: A Prospective Non Randomized Trial
Study to investigate the efficacy of Bach flower remedy larch in cases of low self-esteem in students was carried out with 50 students of Motiwala homoeopathic medical college .study hypotheses that Larch is efficacious in improving self-esteem in students. Students who fell in to grade III and grade IV of Sorensen Scale were selected after screening of 234 students. Written and informed consent were duly signed by the subjects’ .After history taking they received dose of larch dispensed by physician himself. Dose was repeated every 15 days. Follow ups were taken fortnightly to evaluate the effect of medicine. Mean score before treatment was 24.78 and after treatment was 8.84.This showed significant improvement in self-esteem scores after 6 months of treatment. Hypothesis was tested using Z test .Z score was 13.62, at confidence level of 95% table z value is 1.96.Hence Nulls hypothesis got rejected.

Allergic Rhinitis when treated with Homoeopathic Medicines gave the significant results in improvement of the patient. It was found that Homoeopathic medicines were best for cure of allergic Rhinitis where Modern Science have only symptomatic treatment, suppression of disease rather than a cure and use of steroid with the sword of side effects is always there. Homoeopathic medicines are safe, without any side effects and suppression and it improves quality of life. The efficacy of homoeopathic medicines can be understood with the help of statistical Analysis which are as given below. The analysis is of 30 cases. From the study of statistical analysis the age group from 0-20 was 23.33%, from 21-40 was 46.66% , from 41-60 was 26.66% and 61-80 was3.33%. The grades of improvement were, 70% cases showed good Improvement, 20% showed moderate improvement and 10% showed poor Improvement. The medicines which were frequently used were Nux Vomica, Calcarea Carb, Pulsatilla and Natrum Muriaticum. Medicines used in Moderate Zone were Arsenicum Album, Sulphur and Stramonium. Infrequently used medicines were Hyocyamus, Sepia , Cinchona Offincinalis (China), Phosphorus, Lachesis, and Kali Phos.Synthesis repertory brings out the personality of patient through rubrics and helps to make a mind body correlation to bring cure. The meaning of rubrics has its depth and encyclopedia Homoeopathica is the real Gold mine. Homoeopathic medicines have the efficacy to cure Allergic Rhinitis as cure proposed in aphorism first by Dr C.F.S Hahnemann. The action of Homoeopathic medicines to cure Allergic Rhinitis by increasing the immunity of our body to fight against Allergens.One of the care to be taken is start with low or moderate potency as there is a chance of aggravation in allergic condition due to Hypersensitivity. There is no frequent repetition of medicines and wait and watch policy helps to reduce the chances of aggravation and cure takes place. One have to stimulate the system by single similimum dose. Study of mind is the beauty of homoeopathy which is achieved through the study of rubrics from of mind chapter Synthesis repertory. Efficacy Of Indicated Homoeopathic Medicine In Improving Memory In People With Memory Complaints.
Background: An impairment of memory manifested by a reduced ability to remember things such as dates and names, and increased forgetfulness. Memory loss can be caused by many things such as medications, alcohol, tobacco, smoking, depression and stress , nutritional deficiency, cancer treatments, injuries to brain, many pathological conditions (like tumor, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, dementia etc.) , psychological diseases , etc. To bridge the gap in knowledge regarding homeopathic approach to cognitive enhancement, paving the way for more comprehensive and personalized treatment in the field of memory health. Aim and Objective: Primary Objective: To study the effectiveness of indicated homoeopathic medicines in improving memory in the people with memory complaints. Secondary Objective-To study the frequently prescribed medicines in the cases of memory complaints. Material and methods: The patients were included in the study on the basis of inclusion and exclusion criteria and on the assessment of MCS. Total 45 patients selected from Motiwala national homoeopathic medical College and hospital OPD and peripheral camps. The patients who were selected underwent detailed case recording and case processing as per the format of our study. Further regular six follows were taken at a regular interval. In the last follow up again the MCS score was taken to assess the outcome of the study either changes. After that result was drawn with the help of statistical analysis. Result: Total 46 patients were assessed we found 40 (88.8%) cases were improved and 5 (11.11%) cases were not improved. As per consideration of people with memory complaints we have concluded that homeopathic indicated medicines are effective in treatment of memory complaints. Significant difference (t- 0.05 = 2.02, < t = 5.49) using paired t-test. Was observed at the end of study. Natrum muriaticum, Phosphorus, Lycopodium clavatum, Sulphur, Calcarea carbonicum were found to be the most useful medicine in treating memory complaints.
