This article is an attempt to share the importance of physician’s attention and
observation during case taking. Whenever we take case, patient always gives you one
outstanding feature about his/her suffering and to catch that, your accurate observation
with complete attention is a must. In this case, though we have taken his whole case, he
gave characteristic causative modality of his eye complaints i.e complaints were started
after exposure to welding flames and we got that outstanding feature which is of highest
priority here. Mercurius Solubilis is of great help to Homoeopaths when the patient has
complaints after exposure to glares of fire or welding flares.
